We are delighted to announce that Hewitt Contractors have been awarded a new contract with Stainforth Construction, following on from our recent award on the Arla Dairy project in Aylesbury.
This new project will take us north, to Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland, where Units F & G at Tweedbank Retail Park are in need of refurbishment.
Having previously housed a Currys electronics store, the units are soon to play host to new tenants, Lidl, with refurbishment works required to enable this transition.
To this end, operatives will overclad the existing roof cladding, and strip off the wall cladding, installing new built up cladding to the sides and rear, and Arcelor Mittal composite panels to the front.
We will also fabricate and install all required louvres, flashings, and trims on the project.
We are so pleased that Stainforth have placed this new contract with us, and we can’t wait to get started on site – the works will transform the dated existing units, and we are looking forward to being part of this exciting refurbishment scheme.
