Cladding
Cladding is the exterior skin, or envelope of a building, and includes all moisture barriers and closure trims used to cover the outside of the structure. Cladding serves as both a decorative and a functional purpose.
Our Hydra-therm cladding envelope system is a site assembled twin skin metal wall built up systems consisting of an internal metal liner in either 0.7mm or 0.4mm bright white liner. The system has a class A fireproof wool at its core. The external build up consists of a support bar system including grid brackets made up of optional sizes to create greater thermal performance and insulation values. The external cladding sheet is then installed in either 0.55mm or 0.7mm substrates in optional plastisol’s, Pvf2 & Aluminium substrates to maximise the cladding “cradle to grave” life span.
The Hydra-therm external envelope can also be used as an over clad system, simply replacing the 0.4mm / 0.7mm internal liner with the existing buildings original cladding, installing the grid bar and bracket through the existing cladding into the existing roof purlins or sheeting rails and then replicating the above installation methods.
The external cladding is used to complement the architectural style of the building while also offering protection from rain, wind, snow, and other outside elements, this also improves the acoustic and thermal performance of the existing building.
If you are looking for more acoustic or thermal performance, we can offer a perforated panel. There are numerous profile options available allowing us to meet the client’s needs.
